Sawubona (A South African greeting meaning ‘I see you’)

Welcome to my blog. To me, the treasured moments of travel are not always the iconic sights, #1 on Trip Advisor or the Lonely Planet guide – they are the local spots, the unexpected, the beautiful scene you might witness in the middle of nowhere, experiencing something new with the ones you love and finding something or somewhere that wasn’t recommended, referred or published but that you come across by chance, or even by mistake. Like a photographer’s golden hour, these moments are often the ones that make the trip, the ones you never forget and the ones that keep you coming back for more.
