Bali

Defined by its stunning shoreline, endless blue oceans, laid-back lifestyle and bohemian charm, Bali (also known by locals as ‘Island of the Gods’) has always been high on my travel bucket list. With just under 3 hours of flight time between Singapore and Bali I have found the Asian equivalent of La Dolce Vita and it…

Margaret River

Margaret River has always been a place I’ve wanted to visit – I think ever since I’ve known Phil we’ve watched the annual Margaret River Pro (international surfing competition) and on the lay days or ad breaks they would show the most beautiful scenery, rugged, natural and untouched sweeping views with the tagline ‘Just another…

Hong Kong

“Life in Hong Kong transcends cultural and culinary borders such that nothing is truly foreign and nothing doesn’t belong” – Peter Jon Lindberg

Edinburgh

Edinburgh was our last city break before we were due to leave the UK and what a perfect choice. Edinburgh is such a beautiful city – small enough to get by on foot, which I loved and steeped in rich history. Both my sister and brother had loved their visits to Edinburgh and I can…

Singapore

I never imagined that I would one day be living in Singapore but in late 2016 when an opportunity came up for us both career wise, we jumped at the chance to start a new adventure and live not only in a new city but on a new continent. Singapore is a melting pot of…

Florence

Florence had always been top of our travel list but it was only after my brother visited the city on his honeymoon and couldn’t stop raving about it, did we finally book a trip. Any chance we get to visit Italy we take so when it came to making plans for an Easter break, Florence was the obvious…

Positano

Positano is easily one of the most beautiful places I have been too. It’s the type of place where pictures don’t do the beauty justice or show what I can only describe as magic hour when the setting sun casts hues of pink light over the hillside town. It is quite something and I can hands down…

Venice

Walking the streets you become acquainted with the quintessential Venice with gondolas around every corner. Venice is one of those places where reality matches the postcards and it truly is a majestic city.

Rome

Known as the eternal city, I loved the local scenes, the food, the architecture that doesn’t consist of any modern buildings and the visible history that you find around every corner – a city full of style and romance and the echoes of civilizations gone by.

Berlin

Berlin is captivating – full of history. A city with a dark past, juxtaposed with a culture that today shouts freedom.

Dublin

I would love to go back to Ireland one day and see more of this beautiful place, but for now I am glad to have got a taste of this country full of wonderful, warm people, delicious food and rich history which is also a little part of me.

Croatia

This trip brought back so many memories and I’ll be forever be grateful to my parents, that this is what my childhood holidays were made of.

Paris

This post on Paris and any more posts on Paris for that matter will always be dedicated to my sister. I don’t think anyone could love a city more and I can’t wait to return there with her and my mom someday. Each time I visit Paris, it is easy to fall more and more…

Jersey

The little island of Jersey, is for now the place I call home. I’ve found some wonderful charms of island life – from the beautiful beaches, the green lanes and the honesty boxes to the abundance of good restaurants. Here I’ll share (with you) my favourites and keep on adding (more) as I go along….

Copenhagen

This incredible city, a sustainable, clean, modern, green city with beautiful design everywhere you look, setting trend after trend in the design world and with so much to offer.

Prague

Prague is a very special city and if you can step a bit off the beaten path, you’ll find old world charm, beauty, culture and magic around every corner.

New York

Spending almost a week in this incredible city, all the usual clichés came to mind, the city that doesn’t sleep, if you can make it here you can make it anywhere and Frank Sinatra’s famous New York New York playing as the soundtrack to our latest adventure. New York really isn’t a city, it’s a world and…

Iceland

Iceland is good for both summer and winter and although in the summer months you might not see the Northern lights, you’ll be privy to wonderful scenery, beautiful landscapes and the great outdoors of this wonderful island.

San Sebastian, Spain

San Sebastian has been labelled a European capital of culture and has more Michelan stars per square meter than any other city in the world. San Sebastian on a good day is rather stunning with a beautiful stretch of beach and recently revamped promenade. Unfortunately we have yet to overnight in San Sebastian and have…

Amsterdam

Amsterdam was definitely unexpected, it is a beautiful, trendy, vibrant, friendly city. I loved every bit of our weekend and count myself lucky for all the moments and gems we came across, some planned or recommended and some completely by chance. My advice when visiting Amsterdam is to keep an open mind, it has so much to offer.

The Mecca – Hossegor, France

‘The mecca’ is the name we have given to Hossegor, France. Hossegor and the surrounding Landes area is known as the surf capital of Europe so it has become our Mecca.

Cinque Terre

When I first saw a picture of Cinque Terre it seemed like a pipe dream, so to actually be there I felt like the luckiest person in the world and it didn’t disappoint for a second. Cinque Terre will always have a little piece of my heart.
