On our first visit, we managed to find the perfect accommodation, Board and Breakfast. Run by a couple originally from Belgium, Ine and Anton are wonderful hosts and really make all of their guests feel at home. Anton is very knowledgeable about the surf and area and is always willing to give guests a daily surf report or advice on local conditions.
The breakfasts are always healthy and wholesome from fresh smoothies, croissants or crepe’s with their home-made chocolate sauce. The house is modern and clean with spacious rooms, a great ambience and areas that lend themselves to sharing space with like-minded travellers from around the world and now that we’ve been, we couldn’t imagine staying anywhere else. If you’re a couple, I’d recommend the beach house which is a private garden bungalow but they cater for solo/groups/couples alike. They also offer surf & yoga weeks which we are eager to try.

Our first meal out is usually always at Sushi Stop for fresh, delicious sushi. Another favourite is Le Surfing for a relaxed atmosphere and delicious food to boot. For your sweet-tooth head to one of the many boulangeries or to grab a fresh baguette for a day’s picnic.

Hossegor looks very chilled. The South of France well known for some wonderful surfing spots so please share.
Just adding some of the lyrics from “Surfin' Safari” by the Beach Boys to keep you inspired 🙂
Come on (surfin') baby wait and see (surfin' safari)
Yes I'm gonna (surfin') take you surfin' (surfin' safari) with me
Come along (surfin') baby wait and see (surfin' safari)
Yes I'm gonna (surfin') take you surfin' (surfin' safari) with me
Let's go surfin' now
Everybody's learning how
Come on and safari with me
